We have the great honor to bring to your knowledge that Morocco
organizes the ISN/IBRO/ARC Neuroscience School on ‘’Neurobiology of adaptations to environments: focus on African biotopes’’ which is an event for a strong exchange and discussions between junior and senior scientists from many countries.
This school will take place from 18th to 24th, 2014 at Dakhla, a city in the South of Morocco.
The School will provide a 7-day program including talks by senior scientists on neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neuroanatomical, neurochemical, behavioral and biological adaptations of local animal models of Africa followed by discussions. Two technical sessions on neuroanatomical and neurochemical techniques applied to wild African animals and how to record the biological rhythms in these species.
To build a strong exchange and discussions between junior and senior scientists, oral and poster presentations as well as an interactive workshop on how to design a research project on brain adaptation are programmed. The aim is to encourage student to think about an African animal model within a specialized biotope for building an experimental project – i.e. what can these students come up with from animals that exist literally in their own backyard.
Would you like please to find enclosed the scientific program, the description of the event
We hope to build a partnership with The Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS), to make of this special event a success. The students and scientists would benefit tremendously from your generosity.
