Description: A postdoctoral position is available in Lee lab (Unit on Functional Neural Circuits). We use a combination of genetic manipulations, electrophysiology and imaging, and quantitative analysis of behavior to study the synaptic and circuit basis of how external stimuli are represented in the brain, integrated with internal brain states, and ultimately used to guide behavior using rodent sensorimotor system.
Requirements: We are looking for highly talented and motivated postdoctoral fellows who have a MD/PhD or PhD in Neuroscience or related disciplines and who have a record of research productivity. We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong quantitative and programming skills and experience in imaging, electrophysiology (in vitro and/or in vivo), and mouse behavior. Scientific creativity and communication skills are also important as the candidates will work both independently and as part of a team. Positions be available from Spring, 2018. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
