How to join the Japan Neuroscience Society:

The Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) accepts new applications for membership. By becoming a member, one can:

The applicants must submit the application form to the secretariat of JNSS. Your membership application must be sponsored by either of the following:

1. a JNSS member (regular or emeritus).
2. a representative of the society that belongs to IBRO (http://www.ibro.org/) or FAONS (http://www.faons.org/).

JNSS will decide the acceptance or the rejection of the member registration by your application, and inform accepted applicants of the Membership ID number.

JNSS may dispense you from payment of the admission fee and the annual membership fee by your request. The applicant must describe "Request of reduction/remission of the admission fee and the annual membership fee, and the reason" in the application. JNSS will judge based on the description of the application, and inform the applicant of the result.

*Example of dispense
If you participate in the annual meeting of JNSS as a presenting author, you may not have to pay admission fee and the annual membership fee for three years including the admission fiscal year.
