The aim of the OIST Workshop on Cognitive Neurobiology is to bring together scientists who are trying to understand the neurobiological origins of cognitive functions in order to exchange recent experimental findings and ideas about future research directions.
The workshop will consist of lectures by leading neuroscientists and poster presentations by young researchers working on primate models. Please follow the instruction below to apply for poster presentations.

Accepted presenters will be notified by January 15th. Food and lodging will be provided during the workshop. Travel support will also be available to the presenters who require it.
A limited number of discussants without financial support may also be accepted. Please send the items 1 to 12 above along with a CV to the secretariat by January 5th, 2007.
The workshop will be held at the Seaside House of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, a new graduate institute being built in Japan's southernmost island prefecture. We expect future-oriented discussions in a relaxed, semi-tropical atmosphere and hope to incorporate the ideas exchanged there into the plans for a new brain research center at OIST.
