The 9th Federation of Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies Congress: FAOPS2019

   The 9th Federation of the Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies Congress (FAOPS2019) (President: Junichi Nabekura) will be held from March 28th to March 31th, 2019, in Kobe, Japan. FAOPS 2019 will be held in conjunction with the 96th annual meeting of the physiological society of Japan (President: Makoto Tominaga).
   The theme for the congress is “Physiology of Life: function and mechanisms” We anticipate 2000 registrations from Asian and Oceanian countries, who share an interest in all aspects of physiological sciences, including advanced research and translational physiology. The congress will provide a number of interesting events, such as three plenary and ten special lectures, and more than 50 symposiums/seminars as well as special talks and social events. The Congress will also be associated with teaching workshop and training course for young researchers. There will be numerous opportunities to gain new knowledge, share technical expertise and the latest research discoveries, and to enjoy scientific and educational interactions.
   In addition to attending the Congress, we invite you to enjoy the spring in Japan. The Congress will be held during the beautiful cherry blossom season. Kobe is a historical port city and convenient for visiting the most exciting and historic areas, such as Osaka and Kyoto.
