Outline | The Laboratory for Physiological Functional Imaging, Department of Medical Physics and Engineering, Division of Health Sciences, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University is studying the elucidation of the function expression mechanisms of the brain, especially the basal ganglia. Our research involves the use and development of multiscale and multimodal measurement techniques, including whole brain activity imaging with quantitative activity-induced manganese-enhanced MRI, in vivo imaging with ultra-thin fluorescence endoscopy, in vitro Ca2+ imaging and electrophysiological measurement, and behavioral experiments. The laboratory is seeking an academic staff member who has a flexible attitude and can contribute to developing and harnessing the strength of the laboratory’s research. The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching liberal arts and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
