Postdoctoral fellow position in Kamran Khodakhah laboratory
at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Department and Institute：
Dominick P. Purpura Department of Neuroscience in Albert Einstein College of Medicine (NY, United States of America; https://einsteinmed.org/departments/neuroscience/
The interest of my laboratory is to understand the role of the cerebellum in motor coordination, cognitive and social function, and in addiction. Of particular interest to us is the general computational principles of the cerebellum, its interactions with other brain structures, and its role in motor and non-motor behaviors. We approach these questions from both basic science and clinical perspectives. We use a combination of techniques, from behavioral studies to optogenetics, fiber photometry, and electrophysiology (both in vitro and in vivo). Our studies take advantage of normal and transgenic animal models.
Any time after October 1st, 2021
Postdoc candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree at the time of employment in related research areas, such as neuroscience, psychology, animal behavior, neuroengineering, etc.
Postdoctoral fellows at Albert Einstein College of Medicine can take advantage of numerous career development seminars and workshops.
